    "Could not Connect to Steam" Error has returned.

    My Wife and i are currently unable to play FFXIV because FFXIV tells us both that it could not connect to Steam.

    This issue existed before.

    It is now present again. We sit in different Flats at the moment and she uses a Name with only Alphabetical characters while i use one with additional, nonalphabetical characters. So the Issue does not appear to have something to do with Names or internet connection.

    We tried to start FFXIV through Steam for half an hour now but we get the same issue every Time. It ran fine a few hours before. None of us changed anything on our PC's since then, we also did not install any new software.

    Steam is the issue

    Something is going on with it on the "Steam side". It's not just you, lots of post about it on the "discussions" section of the FF14 Steam page.

    yep same here Florida 4:52 pm cannot connect to steam please confirm steam maintenance blah blah blah was playing until 6am last night now this.
