Im pretty much done with this topic, like I said, its their money, its their decision, not my place to tell them anything.
Hopefully things get better in a way no person should ever feel this way, cause again.....its pretty insane.

Ive only played a couple MMOs, none of them Design-wise stuck with me except FFXIV. Part of it is the Cross-Bar Hotbar on Controller.
Bless & Tera and a Few others just dont function well on consoles, nor have good controller Layout.
I happily pay for this MMO because I enjoy it. I havent found a Free MMO worth my time or get any lasting enjoyment out of.
And the Boosts dont mean anything to me, I dont use them, I just played the game lol.

Yeah, my point is - XIV also unfortunately has the best house system currently sans the FOMO. So we pay for stupid shit, then pay for it some more.

You're paying for the game for enjoyment. Just as other people are paying for XIV housing for enjoyment. They will pay for a feature of the game so that it doesn't get taken away. As you would continue paying a sub if you knew a feature you loved would be taken away.

Really isn't complicated.

But Hopefully nobody should ever feel Financially shacked by a game for any reason in the future like this person or anybody that shares his thoughts.

Not at all, if I am done with a game or a Service, if I am not enjoying it or using it, I stop. FULL Stop.
Its just that simple, it Really isn't complicated.
And I wont rationalize or make excuses to keep paying money for something I dont enjoy, or am not playing/Using.
I will not pay for something I dont like or enjoy, not even for 1 thing. That 1 thing becomes irrelevant in the grand scheme, because Im not even playing the game / Using the Service.
There is a perfectly rational Argument that its dumb that your house will be gone if you take an extended break, I dont need to keep repeating that I know and understand, and agree the system is Garbage.
But for me, If Im not liking or enjoying or playing...goodbye house.

Slightly off topic, but I think XIV has the second best housing system. EQ2's housing system will be my personal HotY every year. Everything can be scaled bigger or smaller (EVERYTHING). Fish tanks range from tabletop sized to public aquarium display size (think of an entire wall just being a fish tank). Guild/FC housing could have open courtyards depending on what teleports you set up in your main house. Your relic can be toggled into a hanging wall housing item. And that's just what I remember. I desperately wish there was another MMO that could beat EQ2's housing because I am not giving a penny to Daybreak.

if you want to play on console give ESO a shot. super chill game if you just want to quest and immerse yourself in tamriel with friends or solo.

I would not straight out say he lied and even though i might be called parasocial again, i believe the choice is not really in Yoshi P's hand.
I would assume that management passive aggressively pushed him more towards FFXVI since this game HAS to ba a success, given all those massive failures lately.

Of course none of us know what is really going on behind the scenes but given all the inside news/leaks from different companies all over the world it is probably a safe assumption.

Id like to try and play GW2 more seriously, but I just need a much better PC. Im interested, I like it, just need a stronger computer.

cant try the mounts on the free version, they are locked behind the paid expansions

Instead of using Hildibrand for relic. Why not just add new items to Eureka or Bozja? Eureka is really easy and with some tweaking they could refresh it. I never did it when it came out, since Stormblood made a lot of players quit and I wasn't very active.



Or with the addition of trusts they could bump old trials to 90 with trusts and have a whole bunch of solo fights. They have to be getting better at adding trusts to instances by now.

Eureka is still kicking. Im actually currently progressing there on my 3rd alt and theres people around to party with.

Yeah Eureka isn't most played content. But they have balanced all zones except the end raid for people to play successfully and with out much frustration. I wouldn't mind if a new weapon quest went through Eureka. Except the stat stage. That is just lame content filler, just put better stat progression from the start and skip that step.
