With the Content we got since 6.0 till 6.35 and the MSQ Story ... damn I can't even remember the Story. Was there even a Story?
I remember only:

The Story after Endwalker was so boring that I can't even remember all of it. There was no Highlight, no WoW effect.

I am not sure that SE will release next year a new Expansion, more like in 2 years and how will this Game survive with this less content?

Hate to agree, Once you get all caught up you're SoL unless you wanna grind achievements that don't even give Titles or Goodies. If this is update rate they intend on going at for next year / 2 years this game is gunna flop.

My friends and I use to have discussions for hours talking about new plot developments and lore pre-Endwalkers.

Now we're getting closer to 6.5 and we haven't spoken a word to each other about the story.

Because you are right - it's been kinda... boring. And I have genuinely no idea what they're building up to.

Been seeing this doom and gloom for several Expansions.....Im waiting for the day it actually happens.
I dont want it to fail, Im actually still loving the game, but dam Id be lying if I wasn't Anticipating: "Will this be the Expansion they are finally right?"

After NA Fanfest (assuming that they're going to announce the next expac there) all there cards should be on the table. Right now just feels like the prologue to Kingdom Hearts 2.

I do hope they update BLU at some point, last time was 5.4, so maybe patch 6.4?

They really should just unlock it's max level and let it reach 90 like every other class... But keep the duty finder restrictions and maybe disable loot with BLUs in the party to stop people from cheesing Savages with them.


The Relic might not be the most engaging, but at least it's slightly better than Eureka and Bozja in that you will be guaranteed to be able to do it even after 7.0.


Crystalline Conflict could be better, my biggest problem with it is the matches sometimes drag on quite a long while, you have 5 minutes of regular match time and then you can get as much Overtime as you want as long as people can stay on the Crystal. While you can have some absolutely crazy comebacks, I think maybe they should limit or just straight up remove the overtime from the casual matches.


And for the giant sparkly elephant in the room, FF XVI, I would imagine Yoshi-P didn't want it to effect XIV and was planning on it not doing so, but due to recent releases from Square Enix I would imagine they're pushing hard to make sure that the game gets out on time and in it's entirety, none of that "We'll add the rest in DLC" shenaniganery of XV, so more and more staff and resources are being pushed towards XVI than before.

At this point I'm ready for the man to just let go of 14 and devote all of his time to something else. You're either 100% working on an MMORPG or not at all. If you're tired of working on it, and I don't blame you for being tired of it, then move on.

It's obvious to anyone playing the game and paying attention that post-ew is somewhat lackluster because the group's A-Team is off making FF16 great. And all I can say in response to that, is FF16 better be fucking worth it.

its also because this whole arc has ended anyway. We're back to ARR levels of build up so of course to a lot of people the story will be boring. You cant have rising action against rising action all the time, thats not how good storytelling works.
