Menphina and Azeyma ancients spotted in Elpis?

According to the creation myth, the first ones to come forth from the Whorl was Althyk, then Nymeia. Considering that these two gods have been identified as two ancients, and easily the first, we could assume that the next two deities that emerge from the whorl according to the creation myth, Azeyma and Menphina are the next we will be able to identify in either Elpis or another place in the unsundered world.

Although there are no current dialogue from the ancients that matches Menphina, I believe that the ancient that will become Menphina is the "Blue-haired student". She has the same hair color, but most importantly, she is outgoing, carefree, whimsical and very interested in the love life between Mitron and Loghrif.

The other picture is of her friend/colleague that gives us the quest. She might be insignificant, but as they are together, it raises suspicion that she may be the ancient that becomes Azeyma.

If it turns out they are twins, I'm absolutely convinced they are the ancients that becomes Menphina and Azeyma.

It was not unintentional that we found the ancients that will become Althyk and Nymeia, so I think SE wants us to try to find the other ancients that will become the Twelve. I have also tried to find the other ancients, but none so far. But both of the ancients that potentially could be Menphina and Azeyma, and the ancients that are identified to become Althyk and Nymeia are to be found in two of the side quests that gives you the aether currents.

So perhaps, the rest of the ancients that will become the Twelve can be found in the first two aether current quests in Elpis.

Roughly plausible, but I'd kind of want more evidence than just one person's hair color and a fairly common personality. Remember that our evidence for Nymeia and Althyk wasn't just similar personalities, but also powers, creations, and a word-for-word identical line.

And honestly I don't even see the resemblance between that second one and Azeyma. Blue hair is rare enough that you can look at that as a conspicuous outlier, but sandy blond hair not only absolutely isn't that, it also doesn't resemble Azeyma's hair anyway.

Sharp eyes on the hair. Maybe we won’t get more solid information until a flashback/cutscene later in the game - that will in turn lead us to (on our own time) revisit Elpis to match up the rest of the 12 with NPCs.

Or, perhaps similar to the little Werlyt instanced zone(s), there will be a workshop/lab we travel to, and meet the 12 Ancients pre-sundering? (It might even just be the zone we already have - but re-populated with Ancients).

As for Azeyma - couldn’t it be possible she’s just a “clone” (Not literally) Venat made of herself? It would be sort of a swan song for her, especially if we’re saying goodbye to the gods in this storyline. It doesn’t seem like the 12 are actually these specific Ancients, but rather Venat’s memories of them - so it might be possible she made a backup of herself as well.

Considering how close the name "Azeyma" is to "Azem", and that Azem's constellation symbol is the sun which is also what Azeyma is the goddess of, I think it would be weird if some random Ancient is supposed to be Venat's inspiration for Azeyma and not Azem.

Also, Venat's followers all sacrificed themselves as part of Hydaelyn's summoning process, which resulted in their souls becoming completely consumed (unlike Zodiark) - the unnamed archivist of Ananemsis Aynder who the Watcher was modelled on is an example. So it's a complete impossibility for them to have become the Twelve in turn.

So at the very most the Twelve are merely inspiried by Venat's followers, friends and colleagues, not literally created from their souls.

Though that makes me wonder, what if Oschon is inspired by the previous holder of Azem before Venat? Meaning the one who gave her the title.

I agree that the Twelve are just inspired by the ancients. Because who would perform the act? Did Venat start the summoning process by herself?
Did her followers perform it, or did they do it together?
If nothing was left of the followers that were sacrificed, who then performed the act of creating the Twelve?
Perhaps Azem came in after Hydaelyn had appeared and created the Twelve?

Azeyma being inspired by Azem because of the correlation between the sun, Azem's crystal, and the names is most likely a red herring.

Oschon is most definitively inspired by Azem.

I assumed She created the Twelve using memories of her friends.
Likely recorded onto crystals, like the ones we have for the Convocation.
They don't have the souls of the originals, but they inherited the personalities and some memories.
More rough recreations than merely inspired by.
