in limsa on the world omega is a epidemic with the broom emote and if you are using sounds you will hear it all day long EVERY DAY.
it cant be right that I have to mute sounds so that I dont have to scratch my ears bloody.
can you please take the sound away from the emote at least ... so they can continue sweeping and people can enjoy having sounds on

If you remove the sound, you may be removing part of their enjoyment of the emote. This is one of those things where you won’t satisfy everyone. Learn to live with what exists

I doubt they'll remove it just because one server's Limsa is being obnoxious with it.

Just mute it or leave. If that's not enough then consider a server transfer.

If I recall well, emotes are tied to the “voice" sound option. You could temporarily bring that to 0 when in Limsa without disabling all sounds.
