I'd quit, but I have to keep subbing so I have my virtual house in a game I don't enjoy, and access to the forums so I can get frustrated.
People like you are actually part of the problem. Constantly telling people to leave whenever they have any kind of criticism is slowly poisoning the game. Mocking them besides is just a bit of frosting for the cake.
I mean, they're right. If you're that miserable, just leave. No point in hanging around just to bitch about stuff. You guys are starting to sound as bad as Madden players, who complain non-stop about the game but then are first in line to pre-order the next one. Just leave and be happy.
By the way, I wonder how the JP community is doing. If they're fine then I doubt SE will ever do anything.
Offering criticism =/= misery. Most of the things people complain about are things that by all rights should be complained about, or are you going to tell me people should just be silent while something they have invested considerable time and capital in goes and slowly sets itself on fire? Again, criticisms do not mean someone hates a product, wishes to depart from a product, or is necessarily displeased with the entire product.I mean, they're right. Around the middle of May. Depending on how things work out, this might mean I'm present for the release of 6.4. There's a good chance it will be the deciding factor in whether I walk away for good or entertain the idea of returning at a later date, if so.

Nah, constructive criticism is fine. There are things about this game that annoy me. No game is perfect. But so far, my enjoyment of this game outweighs the negatives. But if that ever changes, guess what I'm gonna do?Offering criticism =/= misery. I'm gonna leave.

Same thing is said about anyone who likes any part of the game. That they must like every single speck of the game or that they don't have their own gripes. Though some posters do make it feel as though they do really hate the game and are miserable when playing.Offering criticism =/= misery. But...why keep yourself unhappy like this. Do you know other MMOs such as ESO have much better housing systems than FFXIV? Where you can actually take a break for as long as you want without fear of losing your virtual house (ok Im actually being serious here)
(being serious as well) I agree. If someone feels trapped in a subscription, that's a bad sign.
also:
Don't worry, people like you will be here long after people like me have moved on.
