In the past there have been instances where entering the house didnt register. Best practice is to enter the house and interact with it. Use a summoning bell or something inside, maybe place a new furniture item. Something like that. Or at the very least, check your timers menu and make sure the timer has been reset. But yes, 45 days when the timer isnt paused.
