Skipping Savage weekly floors without forfeiting rewards from the previous floor

Normally you go the order of floor 1 > 2 > 3 > 4 to get pages/roll loot on all those floors. If you were to say skip to floor 3, you forfeit the page/chance to roll loot on floors 1 and 2. I'd like it so you could do the floors in any order without forfeiting the right to get the page/roll loot from the previous floor. For example, you could do floor 1 and 4 on one day with your static because that's the only loot your static cares about. And on a later day you yourself can get a page or chance to roll loot on floors 2 and 3 with pugs for another job where gear isn't that much of a priority. I agree there are rare cases where this would be a benefit but as far as I'm aware there is no good reason to forfeit loot from previous floors when skipping.

Also, I'd like it so that the party leader can skip to any floor without having to do the previous floors up to that point. Because normally the party leader themselves has to say have done floor 3 in order to queue up for floor 4. They can't do floor 1 then skip to floor 4 unless they give party leader to a person who has finished floor 3. This also stops people from joining a floor 4 party, enter the instance of that floor, then immediately leave the instance and the party. This is because their purpose was to have skipped to floor 4 so they can have their static skip to it with them being the party leader.

I too hate this floor order nonsense. Not just that, but compromising loot for others if I skip or clear the fight.

As a PF raider, I don't have any more business doing P5S or P6S but I'd love to be able to join clear parties without messing people's loot to practice alt jobs.
If anything, let the loot penalty (of not having chests) apply only to me if I choose to do previous fights.

This is something that's *kinda* already in the game. You can't reopen a chest for a fight you cleared for the week if its a 1 chest group but it shouldn't be too hard to remove the chest penalty for the group.
That said, doing 1 through 4 sucks and there's already trolls joining and leaving.

The alliance raid have this system already in place if I run it again same number chest will drop but you cant roll on the drops so I don't see why this can't carry over to savage content, it would give people that have clear more do in PF since they don't have to worry about messing up other players rewards.

No one cares in casual content if you go in with friends to help clear or do w/e, but in savage, where getting said gear makes it easier to clear said content, allowing people to run alts to funnel gear into their main jobs extra fast would be silly.



If you had no penalties for having 7 people who cleared previously but couldn't loot themselves, that's 2 chests of loot funneled into 1 character.
