    Steam cannot connect to Square Enix

    I am unable to launch the game even to the login screen.
    I was just playing earlier today with all updates installed successfully.
    Every time I try to launch it I get an error that it cannot connect to steam...Is there anything I can do?

    This has been a frequent problem for me as well, and it's happening more and more often. The launcher just fails to connect to Steam, even though I am fully online on Steam with no other issues. I'm getting real sick of it, and I wish I could go back in time and make my past self buy the other version.
