Mana datacentre has access to: all JP worlds across the entire datacentre.Wow materia lost what 500 people and most of those 500 people went on pause, almost nobody actually left materia in those statics and even more people moved in,, wanna see how many people mana lost in the same time frame, this is a massive mid patch content drought, if any servers didn’t lose people I’d be absolutely shocked
OCE has access to: NONE. There is no world travel outside of OCE. Not to EU JP or NA, so it is isolated and totally cut off from everyone else. Concomitant to that fact, OCE cant afford to lose ANYONE,
The fact is with the garbage MB, no crafters, a falling population and the resultant inability of players to enjoy content in a timely manner, people are LEAVING. I had to wait 3 hours to do Tower of Zot. THREE HOURS as there was no one online and I was told "theres a two hour window to do those" - if I cant play on a world that can provide a healthy playerbase to do content when I WANT TO, then there is no need for me to be there.
I dont have that issue on Kujata.
Deny it all you like. I will restate what I said earlier, the people on Materia are ALTS, NOT mains. ALTS. The mains are back on their home worlds because SE hasnt provided any kind of real incentive for them to abandon their communities and FCs and houses, which they wont do for obvious reasons.Stable in a content drought means slight reduction, these stats aren’t saying what you think they are saying
Individual worlds and small losses dont matter when you can world travel to a dozen others that have massive populations to draw from for crossworld gameplay.
As it is, Materia is unsustainable in the long term. It is bleeding players..the ONLY solution at this stage is to connect them to either NA / EU...or establish another server in Singapore / Malaysia to enable the SEA population to play.
The marketboards still have prices that would make most people recoil..because you have a very small pool of max level crafters.
As it is now, handwave all you like, players that went to OCE are moving BACK to JP. Call it "anecdotal" and dismiss it all you want...doesnt change the facts.
