So 6.35 is here and we got:
- A relic 'grind' that is literally identical to the last step.
- Beast tri- I mean tribal qu- I mean daily chores.
- A copy pasted PotD that despite having some new mechanics is the exact same thing we've had for years.

When I said that 6.25 was a bad patch, people told me to wait until 6.3. When 6.3 was a bad patch, people told me to just wait until 6.35. Well, 6.35 is here.

So when is it acceptable to say that we've been getting multiple bad patches in a row?

Never? Well alright then, guess I'll just keep waiting until *insert next patch here* then.

Unless it's in the notes or someone datamined it for that guarantee- people should stop with the empty words & false hopes lol

no, it does not unless stated by the xiv team. Stop the wishful thinking. When the devs are vague, be suspicious & expect next to nothing
When they tell you to not get overhyped, don't. It's because they know it's not good.

They have been running the same patch cycle for years. It's rather amusing seeing people that were defending the mundane cycle, now complain about it.

Endwalker is my first expansion (I started during 5.55).

I have to say, while I do enjoy the story, I often found until now that there’s not much to do (unless you do savage/ult) and little by little the game becomes a lobby game.

Unlike it other MMOs like Fail Wars 2 or WoW, you don’t even get a new map to explore with supposedly big patches. Which would not only add more fresh new things to see, but have people participate in FATEs (real dead content), having world bosses to keep maps alive…

Been playing much less lately and didn’t even login once yesterday on patch day. I was just more inclined to play other games for fun.

But also, its not even done yet. We are only on Patch 6.35.
This expansion wont conclude until...who knows....6.5 or 6.6? Maybe 6.7? This is when all of the content and the story will wrap up, THEN everyone can give a more fair assessment of Endwalker as an Expansion.
People talked crap on both Stormblood and Shadowbringers (Casualbringers) and then once they concluded, suddenly people have good things to say about them once they look back and reflect on 'everything'.

There is plenty to do, endgame is a varied thing and we all do what we want..problem is that a lot of you burned it all in a single day.

Maybe try not rushing so much?

I also find it funny that some of you consider anything that isnt combat or player power related..not content. Not endgame.

Endgame is whatever you want it to be.

Im doing my ARM splendour tool, already have BSM, next week Ill do two more..and two more after that...Im in no hurry. It will all be there next week..and the week after..and the week after..back in WOW we had this as well..people did it all in day and then whined "theres no content".

And the people that defend it are the people that pay monthly sub to afk in limsa. I be honest, if i was square i'd do the same, why make content when you have hordes of people paying to afk

They do make content, so what if they afk in Limsa, or just fish, or do sidequests, or just sit and talk to people. They dont HAVE to do anything, what they do is up to them. Isnt it?

There is more than 1 hr of content in 6.35..a LOT more. Try the relic tools in the First, you will be busy for DAYS.

Want a REAL grind? I DOUBLE dare you : go get the Splendour tool for FSH. THAT alone will take a very long time. You will need a LOT of patience to get that done.

The tools we get for those are on an ilevel par with 620 HQ Indagator's PLUS a passive. DEFINITELY worth it.

Ok, so what do you want to improve then? Can you give any kind of solid example or suggestion or just say "boo no content"

Ill second this. Lets hear it. What do YOU suggest? Dont tell me to "go look back on other threads", thats a handwave, little else. lll ask: WHAT ELSE would YOU have wanted in this patch??

You do understand that not everyone is into DoH/DoL grind, yeah? In fact, in my friendly circle, only 2 people bother with that (me and my friend), while rest haven't even touched those since they started playing the game. We're specifically talking about people who don't do those, you know, battle classes. If they could make crafter relics a grind (which is fine for me, hence the emphasis here), why couldn't they add more for battle relics? When Bozja was introduced, it also had a story added to it, and I'd argue it was very well done. However in current Manderville relics (they are separate from Manderville story arc), there's really nothing to it.

"I know this material will make you strong, bring me X" 1500 tomestones and done. Patch rolls in "I can enhance further with X", another 1500 tomestones and done. And what's that for? There's no incentive to fight for anything to be better. In Bozja, the relic weapon was used as grounds to fight the XIVth legion. The first step was also a tomestone sink, but second step already allowed you to go into the Southern Bozja zone. Our next relic step will (probably) be in 6.45, and that's what, about 5-6 months wait time?

Your argument is very flawed. Telling people to do X because you do it, does not satisfy the people who don't find joy in doing that and want to do Y and Z instead. Deep dungeons is not for everybody either. This is where the issue is happening, there is just no balance between these things.
