I'm not sure why people are putting these MASSIVE expectations on x.x5 patches

I wouldn't be expecting so much if people didn't try to excuse 6.3's lack of content by saying "just wait until 6.35!". People don't want to admit a patch was bad, so they just kick the can down the road to the next patch. They've done this for multiple patches in a row at this point.

If the content wasn't to be found in 6.3, and it's not in 6.35 either, how long do people intend to stall? How long before we can all just admit that "yeah this patch was a bit of a stinker"?

I feel the same. And I don't like myself for disliking FFXVI, just because it stole ressources from the game we all pay for.
That's not good, but to be honest I feel like this. And I won't play FFXVI because of this. My really stupid way of protest. :/

People are getting tired of watching content in patches dwindle and continue to be low effort in comparison to what came before all the while having to wait even longer between them.

Until this game gets a "selfie camera" added to the game as a major content patch...please take bitching elsewhere. No matter what Devs do someone isn't gonna like something and bitch about it.
