My friend, and I mean this in the nicest way possible, you have got to get in contact with some grass. This is not healthy conversation. I'm also neurodivergent and none of what you're saying is normal.People have Died because of the lengths of harassment people commit to on attacking the lalafell playerbase, insisting they Are children when they are NOT. It's not funny, not to us, not when others have to see it, and even the people Doing it very visibly have to force their laughter to keep the charade. It's Not Funny.
...Yer joking, right?
Oh no, your catgirl was called a catgirl. Please, get back to me when you've been Stalked IRL and tracked via IP, had your phone and email harassed Hourly, and be coerced into Race changing by threats of Violence, Arson, Robbery, or just straight up Death threats, just for being a Miqote.I had no idea you had gone through such hardships. I'm really sorry and you've opened my eyes.Y'KNOW, THAT'S FINE AND DANDY, Except there's One problem.
The 'joke' is a stereotype that literally 80-90% of the community that it 'archetypes' are Vehemontly Against, and I've gotten to read posts of how terminally depressed and lost people who suffer the worst of this 'humor' want to K themselves because they just want to log in, play the game, enjoy their day and mind their business, but unfortunately people keep Targeting and Harassing them for being a short person.
I once Was a lalafell. On Week One of Endwalker, I was forced to take Back healer group despite being a Reaper, because the healer for group 1, the melee group, decided they didn't want to be near a lalafell. And she was VERY vocal of her disgust.
'Ew, f*cking lalafell. He's not in my light group'
I spent the rest of my week Absolutely Dominating the DPS charts, and banging out clears left and right.
The 'Joke' is not funny. I can go on about how If I throw a Dime through limsa, I'd hit more catgirls than I could Buy with one, and how the bunny people prolly thump their feet when their mad, and NOBODY is offended or Hurt by that.

I agree now. I hope they outright remove the chair from the game, and I hope more people come to understand the suffering that Lalafells must endure for being Lalafells. We must fight for the Lalas!
People amaze me in how sensitive they are.
IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, DON'T USE IT SHORTY

At-first glace I felt this was a micro-aggression. A lot of times people don't realize they are part of such, or just adverse to knowing it is.
Things like objectification, misgendering people, treating as 2nd-class cause of their gender/race/sex. Even saying simple things like "let's have a powwow in the break room" which just rolls off some people's tongues still to this day. Maybe some should look up what these things are before just rolling to some conclusion that it's nothing.

I think my main concern about all of this, is people like above acting as if they are suffering from systemic oppression, in a videogame, where you can easily change your race.At-first glace I felt this was a micro-aggression. Unless you represent irl as the race you are ingame, I\\'d recommend not using terms like "microaggressions", "racism" and those of the same ilk, because the phrasing some of your concerns are coming off pretty badly, ngl.

This is a daft answer and proves my point true, negligence and 2nd-class treatment. Oh just change if you don't like it. Also potions cost money, some have been the same race since they were born for many reasons. Most are not self-aware of their own microaggressions, whether in-game or IRL.
If you don't even know what it means, speak up instead of just being seen as invalidating. I'll even make it more clear, microaggressions are often unintentional, form of prejudice. My first words was at first-glance, they probably didn't realize what they were doing. Did I go on and harp remove this item from the game? No. I think this is something easily correctable, and I didn't come off as dismissing the dissent like many do.

Question cause I'm just curious,
Let says we find out that more Lalafells like this as is then those that don't, then what?

Admittedly saying this not as a lalafel-player, but I feel like the problem is that this is the only lalafel-'friendly' chair, and it's a joke. Which is a shame because there are so many lalafel that the game takes broadly seriously, even setting aside the players themselves. (And yeah, there just aren't items making fun of other races in the same way, not nearly to the level lalafel get.)
What if they also added all the lalafel-sized dwarven furniture from Shadowbringers?

Can we get it changed to this instead?
Would really fit the emotional vibes this chair gives off.
