Tomestones.. Again.. for a relic..

For me it's just weird. I thought when they made content like Bozja and Eureka, there was people asking for a tomestone grind in the same vein as ARR and HSW relics. Now that we have one, people are still getting mad?

If they had made another Exploratory Zone, people would go nuts.
Had they tied this entry to Eureka Orthros, people would go nuts.
Were this grind tied to a FATE grind, people would go nuts.
Tie it to any other form of content, people would go nuts.

They're just acting on what people asked for. And people wanted stuff like HSW and ARR, which had tomestone grind steps one after another.

Could this have been done better? Iunno, probably. But it's not like they're doing this on a whim. People had been asking for tome grinds and light farming for two expansions, and now that they're getting it it's suddenly a problem? Either people start realizing the flaws with what they like and dislike, and be fair about what they put out to the devs, or stuff like this is just going to keep happening.

Possibly not. Which to me just shows the problem. There are people who like one way of doing relics over another, and there are people that like neither. As it stands, SE is doing what people asked for, and at the time, there were people asking for them to do ARR and HSW-type relic stages again, hence why we're having tomes for a grind again.

Like, if people question why we're back to this, that's why.
EVERYTHING ELSE is as MintnHoney said and all the others have as well: EW is a different expansion with different content than HSW. That's not going to translate well. And the required items are also not of the same type and amount as those required by ARR and HSW grinds. Which makes this feel particularly bleh.

Issue is, what are they gonna do now? Is there any compromise to be reached? Because if not, then next time they'll do an Exploratory Zone, there are people complaining again and wondering why, where you have here people against tome grinds. Or at least, sending the message that tome grinds aren't what they want. At that point we'll just ping pong.
