Yes relics were not meant to have all of them done. Square launched all 13 anima relics together, just try to do all 13 launch anima before the nerf, you’d probably still be doing them now, the zeta relics were just as bad and don’t get me started on the legacy or 11 relics

Substituting a pathetically tiny “grind” by just pointlessly getting every relic is not content, is this really an argument people are making now

I hate the argument that this relic is for the casuals? Like? You have to play the game to get the tomes. You can't AFK in Limsa and suddenly have all 19 weapons.

And just because I am perfectly okay doing roulettes for my relics doesn't mean I do the bare minimum. I try in all content I do. I don't just sit there pressing 1 button the whole run. I know the classes I play. I know my rotations. I aim to gear up my classes in the best gear I am able to get. I research duties before I get there. I don't play casually.

But yet, apparently doing roulettes for a relic makes you a casual, but fate farming for a relic makes you mid?

Nah.

The opposite of casual would be hardcore. So why do people with savage weapons care about the relic?

It's not no, it's just laziness from the devs.

Doesn't take much overall effort to set an arbitrary requirement for relic hand-ins using the pre-existing content, if you think otherwise then you're woefully kidding yourself. They could have set this to complete 100 FATEs per complementary chondrite, similarly, they could have set this to 2000 arbitrary tome per relic, which could have been any tome. Hardly requires much more 'effort' from their end.
