I agree with this take. I don't think having a long grind is inherently bad for people with little time, because you can spread it over small bits over an extended period of time. I think that's how the ARR and HW relics were originally designed as.

As taxing as the Heavensward relic was when it first came out (pre-nerf), I never really felt burnt out because I just got it by doing Beast Tribe dailies every day. Sure, you could slave yourself away and obsessively grind tomes for it - and a lot of people did - but you would burn yourself out and run out of things to do really fast.

Same with the light grinding in ARR. I did that by just running Frontlines back in the day, a couple of times a day. Never really engaged in dungeon and Crystal Tower spamming like some people did.

When they mentioned the Endwalker relic was going to be similar to ARR and HW, I guess that's what I had in mind. It gave me a better reason to do my roulettes every day. I don't think having that kind of long winded grind is a bad thing, if you just keep doing the same thing you're doing.
