I do not think we even need such milestone and money to even come up at least something for this relic step, let alone a repeat of the first.I love the comments blaming players who "asked" for this.
If you're a professional multi-billion dollar gaming company with decades of experience and the best you can do is "farm 1500 tomes" because a handful of players "told you to", you don't deserve customers. You should be capable of making a good game by yourself, like thousands of other gaming companies out there are perfectly capable of doing.
I will say ARR is my least enjoyable relic but they could have taken even a tiny spec from that or from HW as an example.
I guess this is a new low then if those are an example of how to have something atleast playable.
Have the HW relic steps changed since release? Cause I'm scrolling through the requirements on the wiki, and almost every step is "you need to obtain X amount of this material, which can be obtained by buying them with Poetics" with the occasional "also these dungeon/trials are required" thrown in.
I sort of remember doing these for my WAR weapon, and IIRC it was mostly "do roulettes for poetics" and blitzing through dungeon/trials unsynced, which obviously you can't do on content.
Launch anima doesn’t even remotely resemble current anima to the point they may as well be different relicsHave the HW relic steps changed since release? Launch anima was a long brutal grind with many different requirements of many different items from many different sources, you needed crafters, gatherers, beast tribe currency, you needed to learn that you would have to do ARF more times than you ever cared to do
Current anima is just a dumping ground for your eureka poetics

Bozja is the only place where the relic wasn't very different to its current iteration
ARR,HW and SB relics have been nerfed in multiple ways
Don't forget the FATE grinding for the (iirc) 3 crystal from each zone, per relic, which as downgraded to 1 of each from each zone(the week after I finished the Forelands which kind of annoyed me...) if you didn't have a Zeta to exchange(or didn't want to exchange it).Launch anima doesn’t even remotely resemble current anima to the point they may as well be different relics

Makes sense. I knew AAR relic had been modified, but wasn't sure about HW. They were long before my time.Launch anima doesn’t even remotely resemble current anima to the point they may as well be different relics
