If you simply wanted a 630 weapon for tomestones for buy the tomestone weapon and bank the coins from alliance raids until they add the weapon upgrade to the exchange and maybe start giving feedback to unlock the weapon upgrade item from that exchange sooner. Is it the shiny aspect of the weapon then? I mean I am still glamouring my crafted shiny book over it. I am just rather confused at people who claimed to love relics when they seemed to have hated everything about relics prior.
A term for it is something like "lazy completionism". Optional grinds and/or achievements that offer a reward that players want, but players don't want to put in the effort towards them. They don't want to do Bozja, they just want their dailies they've been doing to give them the item. They don't want to do the ultimate, they just want a carry/rmt for the weapon. Etc. Etc.
