most hunts trains are organized at the same time so you generally dont have to be online all day especially if you have discord so you can get a notification
and well not like there is any rush to get these weapons done regardless miss a train big whoop can try when time suits you best

And yes there are hunt trains all day long, especially on reset day, no matter if its in the morning or at night. Keep up with the excuses though eventually you'll find something to justify "but muh irl life i work i cant play gamez!!!!"

Idk, this just seems like a very work-accomodating relic so far. I get that for the people who are able to play at lot, be it with part time work, or the people who work from home, this relic step is lackluster. And I can empathize with a bit of the frustration. What I don't understand are the people who only do one relic complaining how easy it is.

I'm sorry, but I don't want to spend all my waking time outside of work farming a zone like I did with Bozja and Zadnor. I don't want to have to instance hop hoping to get an instance that CLL or Dalriada were popped or about to pop so I can try to get 2 runs a day out of my needed 10 per relic.

Square Enix should start understanding that people do not hate the content that they release per se. They almost always just hate certain aspects of it, and those aspects have to be cut out with a scalpel, not a chainsaw.

Yeah, also I feel they go ham on a single aspect and then completely remove it which is a bummer.

To say everyone with less time on their hands don't like to grind is quite disingenuous. 1500 tomes is nothing, and the thing that stings the most is, it's EXACTLY the same step as the previous one. For real! I got Eureka done while in school full time and working a job and it was still the best and most fun relic for me. People will literally complain and demean others because they *checks notes* don't want to play the game they pay for?

I agree with this take. I don't think having a long grind is inherently bad for people with little time, because you can spread it over small bits over an extended period of time. I think that's how the ARR and HW relics were originally designed as.

As taxing as the Heavensward relic was when it first came out (pre-nerf), I never really felt burnt out because I just got it by doing Beast Tribe dailies every day. Sure, you could slave yourself away and obsessively grind tomes for it - and a lot of people did - but you would burn yourself out and run out of things to do really fast.

Same with the light grinding in ARR. I did that by just running Frontlines back in the day, a couple of times a day. Never really engaged in dungeon and Crystal Tower spamming like some people did.

When they mentioned the Endwalker relic was going to be similar to ARR and HW, I guess that's what I had in mind. It gave me a better reason to do my roulettes every day. I don't think having that kind of long winded grind is a bad thing, if you just keep doing the same thing you're doing.

Sadly to some people having to log in the game to do a tiny bit of equals to having to log in all day long

Some people defend this relic step by saying "You should value your time", but my counter to that claim is rather "You should value your money"
