Remember when we had 4 eureka zones for relic steps and everyone complained and hated it and said they wanted the old tomestone grinds back from Heavensward?

Remember when we had to do 15 DR and people just wanted their old content crystal tower farms back?

So now SE is letting people do whatever content they want as long as it gives the tomestones.

Tbh people asked for boring old content and they got it. It’s the people attacking eureka as a concept that got us here so I hope they enjoy it.

Almost like they're not actually listening, just doing what they want to, not what the community insists it wants.

Content trivialization hasn't happened much. Content still has gotten steadily more difficult. That is a fact. It's just slow. Job homogenization I don't personally believe because no 2 jobs feels the same to me. But thats only personal experience talking. Housing they gave the lottery most players asked for. Pvp was revamped into something far more enjoyable. Hackers n bots they deal with all the time. Guess you don't read the news.

current high end content i agree. But side content and older content? way too easy. I cleared 1-30 of the new deep dungeon in an hour with no wipes, that shouldnt happen

I wiped once, but that was because my entire party got eaten by a dread beast in about 20 seconds. But I didn't mind. That was probably my first "oh dang!" moment in years. lol Had a few close calls too. It was nice, honestly.

I don't expect old content to be hard. Old content not being hard is generally a sign players have gotten better. I shouldn't see wipes in Innocence now for example. Barb n Rubi (moreso Barb I'd say) were for sure steps up from previous trials weve gotten at similar patch times.

As for deep dungeon...when have initial floors ever been hard? I don't judge those cause those are what I call the "accessible floors". I'm more interested in the floors after

What do you think every relic grind outside eureka and the original relic were? Literally old content.

Someone even said they wish it was a fate grind to get shared dates done. Well this game has a way of making sure you don’t get to kill two birds with one stone. It’s all content that no one really needs unless they are new and content no one truly wants to do as many times as they ask us to do it

Well this is exactly what I did both of these steps because I already had the 1500 tomes. So it was literally zero effort, zero achivement, zero reason to log in the next day or the rest of the month that I subbed for.

And I dont want to get a relic for all 19 jobs. The vast majority of jobs I level to 90 and then don't touch until the next expansion (because theres no max level content to do on them (this is what the relic should be!!) outside of raiding).

Then get a relic for 2 alt jobs you like playing a lot. I always get one for my main tank, healer, and DPS, and then the 4th is always a result of needing to upgrade for some other job that I'm having to play as for raid.
