    Its similar, but Eight's hair comes in a V shape at the front, whereas Jake's cut is horizontal there.

    The problem is that we've basically been getting nothing but short hair for years. Sure it has never been this short but it certainly hasn't been long either, it's in that weird middle ground where it looks mediocre on both male and female characters.

    I wish they would just stop with the unisex hairstyles, if they lack the manpower to give us two distinctly different hairstyles for each gender then simply alternate between them per patch. I'm completely fine with one patch only adding hair that's clearly made with male characters in mind if it means we stop getting basically the same hair with minor variations all the time.

    Isn't that what they are doing of late? The previous hairstyles we got were the two ponytails – one feminine, one relatively masculine – and before that IIRC was the very definitely feminine side ponytail. And now we have one definitely masculine style.
