There's a reason those aren't skippable anymore; there was a charm to that past, but it's best left in the past- that dungeon was hugely problematic when the cutscenes were skippable.
Journey to all fish: 1383/1729 (348 remaining) [79%]

Fair enough.
Have to confess that I was unaware that they ever were skippable. That clearly predates my time in the game.

Yep. When it was skippable, new players basically faced a choice. Either watch the cutscenes or play the content. They couldn't do both. And some more veteran players would take it a step farther and kick anyone who chose to watch cutscenes because all they cared about was getting in and getting out. And that's no way to experience the climax of the story you've spent dozens of hours on.
So yeah, they made the cutscenes unskippable, but that made the length of the MSQ dungeons pretty long. About 45 minutes long. But to compensate, they gave those roulettes pretty big EXP returns (like half a level). But then came the endless complaints about how long the dungeons took.
I think we are in the sweet spot with the recent changes. None of them are too long anymore, but they still give good exp.

have fun holding your breath waiting for this to happen.
