Game video studders with HDR enabled, Windows 10

So after purchasing a G-Synch compatible HDR monitor, and enabling HDR in Windows 10, the game would have extremely noticeable and constant video stuttering. This issue only seemed to be a problem in Windowed or Borderless Windowed modes. Full Screen had no problems. I don't like using Full Screen though. I could not find information online or in the forums about a fix, so I figured I'd post here.

Long story short, all the issues were resolved when I didn't specify an FPS in the graphics settings. Change this to None. I will also include my other graphics settings incase those have something to do with it that may help.

    Rough system specs:
    Intel i7 10th gen
    EVGA 2080ti
    32gb ram
    etc

    Have fun.

If I recall, G-Sync/Freesync acts like a variable refresh rate so would sorta make sense that having a fixed refresh rate may cause issues, whereas not specifying one would allow it to work as intended.

Nice catch and thanks for posting for anyone else having similar issues.

Yeah, in my testing the lower I set the refresh, the more stuttering and video lag would occur. For example, it was a total slideshow at 60fps. Unplayable.

I had thought that I would want to make sure the game ran at the 240Hz the monitor could support, so I chose that in settings. I think this just conflicts with how G-Sync wants to handle everything.
