does hraesvelgr and nidhogg have anything to say about the battle of silvertear skies

When midgarsormr calling all the dravanian horde to fight garlean empire and it's big ship, Agrius, do you think he also calling hraesvelgr and nidhogg to help them fight the empire?

God no, those two suck, he wouldn't call those two and they wouldn't answer if he tried. Hraesvelgr was too depressed to do anything anyway, and Nidhogg hated people.

(Literally not even kidding here, the only still-around First Brood kid who wasn't some kinda mess then is Vrtra.)

Nidhogg was in a period of slumber at the time after eating Estinien's parents 5 years previous to the Battle of Silvertear Skies and wouldn't wake up again until ARR when the Dragonstar stirs once more. He spent the Dragonsong war mostly napping and then waking up after certain periods of time to rally the horde and punish Ishgard in full force before going back to sleep again.

Hraesvelgr has been depressed and sitting in his roost for 1000 years. His horde doesn't even participate in the Dragonsong War. Hraesvelgr does answer Midgardsormr's call at least once in the story so it's possible that he could have participated but whether or not he did is left in the air and I think it's more poetic if he didn't get up from his spot for 1000 years until we came along.

Vrtra was too busy Role Playing as a small Au Ra boy and didn't want to give up the ruse that a dragon lived in the Satrap's palace. The only time we talk to either of those two are in cutscenes. Hraesvelgr I want to say does sense his father/smells him on you when we meet him though. Making Midgardsormr pop on out. Unlike Tiamat who was so wrapped up in her self guilt that she didn't even notice her father's energy or whatever until her old man popped out n told her to snap the heck out of it 5k years is a long enough time to be isolated and self loathing. Sadly three of his children weren't physically able to respond even if they wanted to.
