Updated patch pictures (not notes, my mistake) are up, and it seems one of the cutest emotes is coming as a beast tribe reward!

Im super happy and a bit concerned of how that will work in combination with our Viera ears.

Ffxiv announced both on Twitter and Facebook that the new patch will arrive on the 7th of March.

Fingers crossed the ears turn out to be dyable. You'll just need a Lalafell with the Rabbit Suit body and you have the perfect Feol Viera alternative.

I'm really hoping that we get vendor permits for the new tribal quests like they did for the Namazu.

I suspect the ears are part of the emote, they appear while the emote is playing out, so not an item you can equip and definitely not dyable.

Could be worse when it comes to emote..,
there was always something.., suspicious with them manually flopping their ears, forwards..,

in either case, looking forward to the DD Eureka Orthos Weapons.., I assume the new screenshot has them shown as well..,

as well as the Tribe Propeller Robot Mount, and The Manderville Quests/Relics, and DoH/L tools..,(if only one could see them glow already..,)

Are the ears just part of the emote? I was really hoping we’d get their outfit. It’s been awhile since we got a tribal outfit… but failing that, it’s also been awhile since we got tribal housing NPCs and I’d love to have a couple Loporrits in my house!

On a slightly related note, I just saw that the official Twitter account for XIV mentioned that the patch date is March 7 but I don't see news of this anywhere else. Would anyone else confirm this or is this maybe a mistake on the date?

I don't think any patch notes are up yet. It's just an update to the patch site.

Its been 2 months since 6.3 released. Its 100% not a mistake.

I assume its an emote only, can’t be sure…but I guess the ears will pop and we will flop them like the lopporrits do and then they disappear again.
I am hoping for their costume as well, and hopefully their dance too :3 yes I am greedy bun.
