

Yes, and I am saying it is a better balance to revert back to 5.1 version's 50% with potency check for range/caster.
I do agreed that 60% is resulting melee cant even kill melee and defeated it is original purpose
The optimal number is 50% from 5.1 version.



Thats true, when the melee are off having their own little battles in frontlines, its literally just doing a comical slap fight that might as well amount to them playing a game of chicken to see if they can bait the other.


In general, FF14 is not balanced on 1 v 1 but when same category can't kill same category (Melee vs Melee), something definitely went wrong.
This is why I agreed 60% is too much, it need to tune down to 50%.
However, we also need to take consideration of how burst range/caster becomes and their arsenals of crowd control
In order to avoid causing issue to conflict, I starts to think maybe potency diminish feature back in ARR should make a comeback instead of blank nerf on all range/caster's output.
