    Unable to Connect to XIV Data / Lobby Center - Routing Issue?

    Hello team,

    I have suddenly started experiencing timeouts when accessing FFXIV via NA & some EU Data servers. Rendering me unable to connect to my primary data center (My main character is from Hyperion). I ran tests on a few servers, but here is a ping & trace from the Primal IP, showing where the trace goes awry.

    I can get around this with a VPN, but the latency is rough and essentially unplayable. I'm open to advice for ways to address this. I've also reached out to my ISP to see if they can assist.


    FYI, I am located in Ontario Canada, and my local ISP is owned by Rogers Communications


    Looking for advice on how I can proceed, to restore my connection and enjoy XIV again.

    My ISP informed me they could not do anything about the situation due to detecting no issue sending packets passed their own servers. Once outside those servers, I'm basicly out of luck. However, the routing gods had mercy on me and have restored me to my former glory. I can successfully connect again. Updated route shown below for historical purposes.
