I really love the jacket from the event and was wondering if there is any way to get it or if there is any hope that they will rerun the event I been hoping they would ever since a month after Endwalker when I first played the game I am super sad that I miss out on the event and I just REALLY hope there will be some way to be able to get it again

I think there is. When they've decided that they're never going to host any specific event again they put all of the rewards from them up on the mogstore.

I also assume that they try to use these as ways to pull people back into the game. FOMO, right?
