eh ... not really? I wouldn't say "carry" is the right word here. All the War did is make healer extra braindead in dungeon, that's all. Like ... it's cute, but hardly relevant. If a party is bad enough that a war is the different between clear and wipe ... then the problem isn't with the tank, but the other 3 people. And War pay for this advantage with their output, make them less desirable in high-end content. I can assure you most GNB do not want t trade their DPS for more self-healing.

For dungeons sure but in high end content gunbreaker/dark knight is what everyone wants.
More and more they're making dps checks on everything the standard so highest DPS = best.
Also some of it is level based so in roulettes which skills you can use will vary this feeling. A GNB with HoC (instead of HoS) + Enhanced Brutal Shell + 2 charges of Aurora is substantially tougher than a GNB just a couple of levels lower. All the tanks wobble up and down a bit depending on level sync.
Play what you want. Every job is viable. People don't care what job as long as the content gets cleared.Am I alone in this? Am I wrong? Are warriors really this much more powerful than other tanks? This feels off. I enjoy the way gunbreaker and dark knight play much more than warrior but warriors out here soloing basically everything. Or am I just bad at other tanks?
Play whatever tank you want. Just play it right and use your mitigations.

Health bar is mostly healer’s business. When I play any non-WAR tanks I paid less attention to my own health bar—I trust the healer to do the bare minimum of what their role ask them to: to not let me & others die to unavoidables. Doesn’t matter if it means leaving me at 100% or 1% HP. I may help them if I even spot it in time to help.
Being a WAR simply strips away most of that responsibility from the healer’s hand because of WAR’s comically powerful Raw Intuition/Bloodwhetting in AoE situation. I mean, what do you expect, that’s literally 3 or 4 Benedictions at 25s cooldown & 17s-19s downtime! They can even share it! (Hence the running gag that is the 5th healer). They also have fancy, FREE 2200p self heal at 60s and partywide Shake it Off at 90s which also received a regen buff quite recently because why not… They have enough HPS to delete an entire role in dungeon run & it’s hard to even screw up considering how easy it is to utilize all of those tools.
I assure you in anywhere else that does not have multiple target, the table turned against them where DRKs and GNBs becomes objectively better for having the required survivability in addition to their higher dps.

I assume you mean Equilibrium, than one is actually 2200p (1200p + 5 x 200p/tick). But otherwise generally solid comment.
One small addition here is that Thrill of Battle's recovery boost affects every single heal potency Warrior has.
- Equilibrium (direct + regen)
- Shake it Off (direct + regen)
- Storm's Path finisher heal
-Raw Intuition / Bloodwhetting / Nascent Flash[debunked]
But yeah, honestly despite all of that I currently think I feel like im trolling not playing DRK right now. In content where the mitigation isn't as necessary for myself I can toss Oblation + TBN on other targets with great liberty and in content where it matters, I am still very tanky, bring a ton of damage and am conditionally (almost forced thanks to them designing fights around it) even more powerful with Dark Mind. That and Living Dead is arguably the best invuln now, short of the 1min shorter cooldown of Holmgang.
Tough times honestly.

I'm still "mid level" in my tanks, but so far I like Dark Knight the most. I can't see any problems using the others. I like Paladin a lot and I don't like much Warrior and Gunbreaker. In general, all the tanks are well balanced (at least around lv80) and I can't see any issue in one in specific. Warrior seems to be the best damager which helps dpses in general. But, that doesn't mean the others sucks or anything, since they have decent damage as well and "better defences" like Paladins for example. So, to me, your concern is not true. All them are good as they are and damage is not the only factor to consider in a tank.To help dpses or to help healers are equally usefull in a party.

As if WHM don't faceroll holy their way through dungeons, doesn't mean the other healers are troll classes
