Problem:
Replicating the issue through a video I unlisted on YouTube for the sake of having a visual presentation of the problem I am running into, while also showing that I can get into one of my characters but selecting the other will crash the game indefinitely.
What I've tried:
- I've reinstalled the original game files in total: 5 times.
- I've updated Windows10 to the current version of Windows10 including any driver updates related to the CPU and the GPU.
- I've checked the integrity of the files during each of the reinstallation phases to check for corruption or missing files in general after installation.
- I tried to install the game through the official website, but I realized that's not going to work because my CD code is attached to my Steam account.
- Updated DirectX.
- Downloaded/Installed the latest .NET framework files.
- Swapped the launcher from running DirectX 11 and it currently uses DirectX 9 instead.
*Note* when I first ran into this issue, it would give me 16a error code after clicking the green button to play the game from the launcher after successfully logging in with my credentials. I was never able to get into the game until someone offered all the fixes I've tried so far, which will continue after this notice. After switching to DirectX 9, the only improvement was being able to play on my alt account, but using the main character crashes the game as it has been doing so far.
- C:/User/Documents/ doesn't create a My Games folder, so there's nothing to delete in there. The cache files end up somewhere else, I imagine in %AppData% when you press: Windows Logo + R to run: %AppData% which opens the .roaming folder containing local app data folders for games, programs, etc.
- Deleting game files, reinstalling the game, and restarting the computer doesn't do anything. Using Steam to verify integrity of the files doesn't work either.
- Disabled Firefall for both Public and Private networks.
- Uninstalled One Drive to make sure it wasn't secretly storing any file configurations without me knowing about them. Doesn't exist on my computer and it doesn't somehow run in the background either.

It's just 2 minutes long, showing I can get into the game after clicking "play" on the launcher running DirectX 9. It then shows that I can choose a service center. Choose my secondary character that's an archer. And then load into the game after getting passed the queue time for Sargatanas.
Then I logout to get back to the character selection screen. Click my main character. And then acquire the error message. Game crashes when I click "Ok" on error message.
