The current dummies feel restrictive with how much a player can interact with them. Gunbreaker can't junction off of them, monks meteodrive doesn't do the additional hit if the target isn't guarding, and abilities that require getting hit can't be played around with.

So I thought instead of striking posts, why not have mammets instead? Solving the issue with gunbreaker's junction issue: a blue mammet wielding an axe to act as tank, a green mammet holding a book acting as healer, and a red mammet holding a staff to junction damage.

Have these mammets flagged as non-machina so players can "lab" their combos and have fun with it. While on the subject of labbing, maybe have a goblin in the middle of the striking dummy square hand out gobbiejuice, instantly refilling the limit break bar when you interact with him (and teaching people that the gobbiejuice supply train in rival wings isn't something to completely ignore, COME ON PEOPLE). Something like a 3 second interaction progress bar while our character does the mega potion drinking emote from the rathalos trial.

And finally have the tank/axe mammet occasionally cast raging axe like how they do in the antitower. Maybe a samurai would want to have an active chiten debuff on it for additional damage/zantetsuken purposes.
