Game crashes to desktop after queue. No error message.

Thanks for providing us with those details. When the game crashes to desktop, do you receive any error messages? From the provided System Report, I noticed that one of the problem signatures is 'ffxiv_dx11.exe'. Do you recall if this is the only error that was received? Also, I might have missed it, but may I ask what storage drive FINAL FANTASY XIV is currently installed under?

I was getting two error prompts. 16a was the first, then once I deleted the folder and retried. 16a has not shown up since. There was another error prompt. But I can't see it because the game wont minimize. if I hover over the error box specifically on the task bar, it does not show the text box because it is being covered by the the game being frozen. This one has only happened twice. My current position is that the game just crashes back to desktop with no error.

The game is installed on an external hard drive, but I will try re-installing onto C:.
