Show me a parse of a fight where a WAR is doing 80+dps and I will admit WAR is on par with BRD
Until then it's clear that WAR is under BRD for dps
(also don't forget WAR got nerfed same patch as BRD)

WAR beats BRD on Chimera but both are so bad its lolfest.
There's several factors to take into consideration when determining your list.
1. Will MNK go OOM (and will BLM go OOM)
2. Does it have Elemental Weakness MNK can exploit
3. Does it have high evasion / Magic evasion (Princess, Garuda to some extent)
4. Is movement required, and how much.
5. Do you have "special jobs" that distract you from DPSing the Boss (Chimera; Princess; Garuda to some extent)
There's too many factors to have a clear cut list; its almost easier to just do each boss individually.
For example:
I've done close to 130-150 DPS as DRG on Princess post patch where most of our WAR's sit closer to 65-75 DPS. Princess has higher evasion than say, Miser's Mistress, so you can abuse that with free WS's on DRG to compact its rotation really tight if you catch them in the right spots. This also causes problems for BLM's trying to straight DPS that fight because they get resisted a lot and aren't geared for the additional Magic Evasion. Most MNK are not geared for the accuracy required for princess either and lose a large chunk of DPS due to either Acc, or loss of stats equipping more Acc.
I didn't save the parse from that attempt but our kills are always right around the 2 minute mark with my DRG dealing 15700 damage, and the #2 DPS (WAR) dealing 7700. During this kill the 2nd Guard which usually indicates the fight is somewhere around 1.5-2m popped when the Marshal had 10% HP remaining; so it was a very fast kill. It was post-patch when I was messing around with gear combinations to find the correct amount of accuracy and STR/PIE and surprised myself with the results of that one.
So for Princess if I assume everyone playing their class flawlessly I would rank the classes DRG-MNK=BLM-BRD=WAR-WHM-PLD
Its just an example that theres no clear cut list but I'd tend to agree MNK, BLM, and DRG will all hover the top 3 spots with BRD and WAR about the same in the 4th and 5th spots. Oh besides for Chimera, WHM can out dps both BRD and WAR on that fight <.>;;
Think of it this way, if there was 1 "end all" DPS it would be the only class I'd play probably, yet I play MNK, BLM, DRG, BRD, and occasionally WAR as they are all better in their own fights. I think its "decently" balanced right now.
Also Front Line Archer melts DRG/BLM/MNK in all Hamlets... so pro.
Very much agree here, one shines at one place, one at another.Its just an example that theres no clear cut list but I'd tend to agree MNK, BLM, and DRG will all hover the top 3 spots with BRD and WAR about the same in the 4th and 5th spots.
