DPS Rank

A friend and I were having a discussion yesterday about where each job would rank in a DPS list, while we agreed on MNK/BLM topping the list with DRG quickly catching up it was the other 4 jobs we had a harder time placing.
So here's the idea, post your list with a little reasoning behind why each job is where.
For the sake of the list each job would be in full DPS gear and be stated for DPS.
This is for single target DPS so AOE isn't gonna matter.

1. BLM- the "Glass Canon", no combo position restrictions, only has to deal with MP and not that big of a deal
2. MNK- could beat BLM depending on the situation, MNK has to use position which is its only downfall imo
3. DRG- only slightly behind the top 2, since the "ACC fix" patch I've seen DRG put out some killer numbers, has to deal with position just like MNK
4. BRD- "LightShot" nerf hurt them, still decent DPS just not Top3 anymore
5. WAR- was gonna put PLD here but my friend reminded me that WAR has Berserk or Rampage which would increase DPS, still think they are low DPS now
6. PLD- can put out decent numbers if stated/geared STR/MND but long CD on Spirits Within is holding it back imo
7. WHM- if this was CNJ it might be higher, only 4 spells and long CD's on the 2 combos hold it back, dmg from spells is still nice on certain mobs

I see the DRG in front of the monk now... i outdamaged a monk in moogle fight easily before the patch.

Before the patch the drg had one dragonic abillity which could push his ATT power for 3 times.. now you only have to press it once for that. (that means around +100 more attackpower)

my DRG gets easily in the range of 800 attackpower in his attributes... which a monk can't. A drg who knows how to use his skills to push his attack power and has good equipment he easily can outdamage monk.

i see many drgs who dont use that skill, so its no wonder that they cant get into that high attack power stats. before the patch it have been more that didnt used that skill (because they have to use it 3 times)

just my opinion. in moogle fight i did around 450-850 dmg in average with weapon skills.
plus you almost never run out of TP because of your TP regen abillity so you can non-stop spam your WS + jumps which dont cost any tp but generate new TP


seriously i dont know why monk or even blm (who cant spam his spells and run fast out of MP) is so much prefered instead of DRG. maybe its because of old days in FFXI or some kind of thing.. or they dont know how to use the whole potential of DRG.

in comparison to BLM the drg auto attacks between his WS (which do around 200 dmg in mog fight) while a blm is casting his spells... then a drg doesnt run out of tp, he spams WS... the only thing is, drg is a glass canon if he uses his one dragonic skill to push its attack power... it lowers his defense and is really vulnerable in melee range. a blm is mostly out of range and in a safe spot, which a drg is not.

Berserk WAR is awesome... and Damage AOE > BRD. BRD better only for ranged (not ever)

I think Archer with the right setup can out damage BRD. Being able to Keen flurry Quick Nock with the use of invigorate makes up for the loss of RoD and tp song. However in a party setup, the benefit of songs to the rest of the group probably outweighs anything the Archer can do over the BRD.
