I don't think he needs replaced.

I DO however think he needs to seek input from outside of his local echo chamber. He has been caught flat footed on more than one issue where he said a design philosophy was one way only for his developers to completely contradict him and put something else in game.

That's either a lack of leadership, a lack of standardization, or a lack of communication.

He's also not very receptive to honest feedback and can come off as extremely dismissive.

i know people love to think of yoshi as a god and pray to him 4 times a day but i see that he now days hurt the games progress more that he helps it. he deserves the respect for doing a good job for a long time, i say up to 5.x. now days so much of the games problems and things the game just do have is because yoshi don't like them. how many times we did hear "i did not think any one will want it" as a reason?
so if we want the game to have new and GOOD things we need a new director.

Well, given how EW is so far the peak of popularity, which has been steadily increasing with each expansion, and how most people consider EW to be another home run, I think the premise of your claim is at odds with reality. This forum has always been a negative echo chamber. It is not in the least bit representative of the actual playerbase. Most of the hundreds of thousands of players already feel we have a ton of GOOD things in the game and would prefer it continue. So no, I see zero legitimate reason to even consider changing directors at the present time. It would be the most counter-productive decision you could make.

By far his most defining moment in recent memory, bar his crying episode, was when he told healers to go play Ultimate rather than realizing the obvious flaws within that role's entire design in this game. Some other noteworthy moments include the infamous April 1st live letter with earless 2B Hrothgars that saw near-universal backlash after 2 years of stringing along the players of both limited races. His mystified response at learning players wanted the Meteor beard that's in the CGI and in-game benchmarks/story trailers was also quite telling.

But really, the producer has less to do with the game's direction and more to do with securing budgets, talking to the press etc. He wants to focus on directing the game and having to do all those other things takes away from that.

If anything it is the players ruining the game with all kinds of plugins and cheats that more or less prove they can't play the game without them.... and the fun fact is the mechanics and things to do is not that complicated or difficult to accomplish as long as you want to play the game for real... more difficult stuff take longer to complete.

I'm pretty sure more people use the mods that give their characters bigger chests and such then anything else.

I don't think male character players care a lot about "milkman"-type bodies. There are some, but not that many.

Hats, hairstyle and gear on the other hand? Those tend to be popular.
