While there are certainly some things that could be changed for the better, and it feels like we've been locked in the same cycle for 10 year snow changing out directors won't have the result you think it will. Yeah they will probably do a bunch of new things, but they wont know why things are the way they are now, and probably end up changing a lot of things that you either like, or at least didn't know you appreciated until they are gone. If anything they need to be adding to the staff for XIV. I don't know if anyone counted at the end of EW but in ShB the credits still only listed 3 job designers which is probably one of the reasons we are experiencing the issues we are in that area.

If you in any way think the island sanctuary = Wod Garrisons you don't have a clue what you're talking about. And somebody that played that entire expansion and was running a guild then Island sanctuary is not even close. In fact I would call Island sanctuaries a huge success compared to the isolation, boring, mobile game mission table that Garrison's were

All early FFXIV did was take the parts of WoW that worked well at the time and copied them over. It's not the massive thing worth overpraising like some seem to think it is.

Aveyond, let me genuinely ask you: what do you love or like about FFXIV?

No snark, nor jokes from me. I really want to know. There has to be something you like for you to keep paying a sub and dedicating threads to fixing the problems you believe are present in the game.

I think its a problem at the top of Square and not Yoshi P. If anything, Our current production and development staff is the sole reason this is like their only successful game in recent memory XD. And of course they pull Yoshi P and some FF14 resources for FF16...

I would much rather have someone who seems to genuinely love the game in charge than someone who is just a stand-in for the c-suite types and has no real say.

Dislike the guy all you want, but remember that he saved the game from where it was previously, plus the game is still doing great despite. And from what I hear, it is the Biggest Money Maker for SE Right Now.

Please no. Absolutely not. Take a look at the general landscape of gaming these days. FFXIV has flaws, but the community is lucky to have Yoshi-P.

To your 1st one the OP had over 100 like 2 comments down there is a comment "if everyone who like the story made a thread" with over 300 likes. So basically majority liked the story I personally enjoyed it thoroughly. You might not get it's just like a movie or anime some might love it some might not receive it as positive.

On your 2nd post the 6.3 while maybe not as packed as you would prefer until you get a selfie patch as a major content drop....don't even complain about having to wait for a lackluster patch
