I'm pretty sure more people use the mods that give their characters bigger chests and such then anything else.

I don't think male character players care a lot about "milkman"-type bodies. There are some, but not that many.

Hats, hairstyle and gear on the other hand? Those tend to be popular.

I kind of want FF16 to release and be on auto-pilot so he can refocus all his attention back to FF14, to be honest. I do agree that the people in charge of SE as a whole are probably the bigger issue with the budget being spent on games that are flopping and the continuing want to go into NFTs. I'd rather a new president be voted in for SE that wants to focus on making quality games that are fun.

Considering he has said he would like to step down from the producer's role as soon as possible and focus solely on the director tasks (basically everything that matters for the players), then yes, it would be ideal if he could do that.

But really, the producer has less to do with the game's direction and more to do with securing budgets, talking to the press etc. He wants to focus on directing the game and having to do all those other things takes away from that.

I don't think he needs replaced.

I DO however think he needs to seek input from outside of his local echo chamber. He has been caught flat footed on more than one issue where he said a design philosophy was one way only for his developers to completely contradict him and put something else in game.

That's either a lack of leadership, a lack of standardization, or a lack of communication.

He's also not very receptive to honest feedback and can come off as extremely dismissive.

By far his most defining moment in recent memory, bar his crying episode, was when he told healers to go play Ultimate rather than realizing the obvious flaws within that role's entire design in this game. Some other noteworthy moments include the infamous April 1st live letter with earless 2B Hrothgars that saw near-universal backlash after 2 years of stringing along the players of both limited races. His mystified response at learning players wanted the Meteor beard that's in the CGI and in-game benchmarks/story trailers was also quite telling.
