HELP - Possibly switching from NA to EU?

I guess it depends how situated you currently are. I have a few friends that live in Australia and when Materia came out, they found the game far more playable playing there. One of them has since moved there for the better ping, but another rather hang around their NA friends since they don't really raid. When I played on Materia for a bit with them, I did feel the latency a few times as I was hit by a few AoEs that I know I was out of the way of.

louisoix is an alright server, decent amount of people and get a chance at housing. Ragnarok is a very busy server with very little chance of housing.

DC Travel is a thing, any? maybe one with a buyers' market for pots and food.

I'd probably pick the Chaos DC if raiding is your main objective. Cerberus or Ragnarok were pretty good if I remember correctly, but the specific server doesn't really matter anymore anyway.

The Light DC is...okay I guess, it still has Odin as the raiding server, but the clear rates are definitely lower.


And be prepared for a lot of french on Chaos or a lot of germans on Light.
