Legacy Campaign Question

I bought the collectors edition back when the game first came out and only played for that month and a few months here and there over the years. I came back about a week ago to see how much is changed and only registered for the 30 day subscription because I was unsure if I would like the game.

Well I see that they are offering the legacy campaign and that it ends at the end of June. I went and updated my subscription to 90 days, but that won't be charged until July 12. Am I still eligible for the program, or did I screw myself by picking the 30 days first?

Sounds like you registered on June 12. So the writing on the wall is that you're screwed. They said they would let you know, but it sounds like what they did is let you know if you didn't register on May 30th, you're screwed. 2 weeks later. lol

You will get legacy as long as you keep paying for 3 months untill start of beta. The annuncement on main page is just stating that the 90 sub will be stopped after june... so the only paiment option is 30 days. This is probably due to the fact that they expect to release beta soon and they dont want us paying extra before the new free period starts. (sorry aout my poor english ><)

Actually I'm pretty sure you're fine as long as you've payed for at least 3 months, I don't see any issue here.

Lot of people in basically this exact situation -- including me. Everything (including the in-depth SE post Aevril linked) seems to indicate that yeah, you're fine, one way or the other.

The only lingering confusion, for me, is whether there's a distinction between registering for and paying for 90 days because, as you said, registering a 90 option doesn't kick in until your next billing. I'm thinking there is and the Jun 30 is just the cutoff for registering it because, yeah, people who'd registered 90 days up through Jun 30 could be waiting for it to "kick in" until late July. And then ... let's see ... August ... September ... October ... 2.0 beta. They just don't want people paying for time they're not gonna be able to use.

But even if you can't actually make use of the 90 day you just registered, worst case scenario you switch back to 30 and still have (I should think) ample time to accrue your "90 cumulative" days of paid subscription month-to-month, which, again, that SE post confirmed along with a bunch of dudes is also still gonna qualify you.

I would like to hear from SE regarding 90 day subs registered between now and June 30 that won't bill until after June 30, though.

I think its more so that they just removing the 90 day thing, but even so there isnt enough time for 90 days worth AFTER June.

With July > August > September being needed to fully pay for and we're expected to have Beta in September and release/transition the following month, there isnt enough time to get the free trial + 90 days in, so that i think is why they stopping it then.

if you paid 30 for June 12 to july 12 then you pay 30+30 again for july 12 > august 12 > september 12 u should be ok as you will of paid 90 days worth. Probably wont get your legacy until then tho.
