- Please make sure that your Windows Operating System is up to date using Windows Update. Some optional updates aren't installed automatically, so it may be best to double-check to see if there are any that are available.
- It might help to perform a full uninstall and reinstall of your graphics card's drivers.
- Disable all programs/overlays running in the background (such as Discord, Steam, etc.)
- Make sure your anti-virus software has the appropriate exceptions made for FINAL FANTASY XIV. You can also temporarily disable the software, test to see if the issue persists, and turn it back on afterward if there is no change.
- Turn off Fullscreen Optimizations. Find the executable file for the game (found in the install folder), right-click it and select 'Properties'. From there, select the 'Compatibility' tab and check the box labeled 'Disable Fullscreen Optimizations' and apply.
- Perform a clean boot to minimize the chances of another program interfering with the game. To do this: Open the Task Manager and select the 'Start Up' tab. Disable everything listed and restart the PC.
- Lastly, you may try reinstalling the game on the C: drive. I noticed that the game is currently installed on your E: drive. We usually recommend this as installing it on other drives that are not the primary can cause certain issues to arise.
