Something like tier 1: 0-50 wins, tier 2: 50-100 wins, tier 3: 100 wins and above? Even if I try to play for fun in casual, it's not fun when you are playing with people who don't know what their skills and limit break do

you should probably have low expectation for casual, its meant for fun if you want a mode where theres a modicum of skill i suggest rank
No, because I play casual instead of ranked because the ranks are worthless and you get penalized if you're on a team with 4 people who just run in and die all the time. I'd rather just take my losses over and over without somehow being at a low rank because of it.
The other night I queued for casual CC for 3-4 hours and played with the same pool of 10 or so players for the entire duration with some new ones here and there. Looked to me like if there were more divisions, the queue wouldn't even pop.
Bro, I second this soooo much. There is definitely hidden MMR in casual. Usually I play AGAINST 1 other Crystal player (whose name I recognize) while generally I’m the only Crystal player on my team. If I have a Crystal teammate, you can bet there are two on the opposing team.
Back to the topic on hand: casual is supposed to be for fun but that “fun” gets ruined when you have casual matchups (classifying based on how they play) like 1 crystal, 1 plat, 3 silver vs 1 crystal, 3 gold, 1 bronze. The team with 3 gold is most likely going to win because they only have 1 anchor (the bronze) whereas the first team has 2 (the silvers). Gold players atleast know their class and can possibly kill you. Whereas silver players still have a lot to learn. Basically: the matchups are one-sided about 80% of the time (win or lose).
I had 1 game where I was matched against 2 crystals (portrait) and I had 2 players who got the achievement of joining a CC game lmao. How is that fun at all?
