For reasons stated multiple times. This isn't something that needs to be addressed. If you want the rewards, do the time. No one is saying you have to play some mini-game 100,000 times or more to get to 10M. Follow what others have said and the MGP comes easy. It is only a grind if you let it be a grind.

I was correct in assuming that a lot of the player base is thick. Nothing changes with he audience for MMOs.

Why OP wants EVERYTHING that there is to buy with MGP is something i don't understand. How expensive it must be to buy everything that you can buy with gil... how about end game tomestones? These are even on a weekly limit!

When...you get line which is entirely dependent on RNG. Far from a reliable source of MGP as can be.

Come here for suggestions/debate. All i get is no one countering my arguments and coutner arguments essentially boiled down to old players saying gatekeeping is good no matter how much the value of rewards increase No reasoning as to why years should be added onto the grind...

because you're not supposed to be getting everything available (why would want/need to have 1 of everything from the vendors) and certainly not right away and certainly not in any amount of short timespan. deliberate design decision. again, just because you start playing the game later does not give you license to demand everything asap.

If everything would be easy to farm the game would loose half it's subscribers 2 weeks after each patch

Why should i give "counter arguments"? People already gave them to you and you act offended and claim everybody supports year long grinds.

You ignored my points btw. If you want to farm everything you can get with a currency then it is going to take a long time.

People have been giving you counter arguments all along. Saying "you don't count" when you don't like the answer isn't debate. It's just arguing.

Again, they do increase MGP payouts periodically. The MGP acquisition rate has increased dramatically over the years. You may think it's still to slow, and you're entitled to that opinion, but you're arguing as if they never increase payouts when the reality is different.

And as I said earlier, I do agree about Open Tournament rewards, but what exactly do you expect me to do about it?

They're not. Whether you are new player or old player, they're expected to be a long grind.

His entire premise seems to be that: he wants to farm only/mostly playing open tournaments, new prizes have been added over time and will in theory continue to be added therefore his rate of earning all the MGP must accelerate at an even greater pace, and anyone with experience playing the game isnt allowed to disagree with him because we've all had years to get a head start on earning MGP. Do open tournaments pay out enough? I dont enjoy open tournaments, so i couldnt tell you. I got the card, and i moved on. Im 3 cards from the mount(dreading the eventual memoria farm that i will likely save for last), believe me ive played enough triad. He also conveniently ignores the post by Darkmoonrise where he spells out how you can earn over 12 million MGP(thats a FULL cap plus 2 mil and change) in a year. And thats not including any MGP you might get from alternate sources like Khloe or the couple Mogtome events a year. Theyve been slowly adding rewards over 8 years, and you can get almost all of them(if you even want them) in one years time. YES, that sounds reasonable to me. To most of us.

I'm doing my regular grind, taking my time.

Once a week I pop the MGP bonus +15% from squadron on a saturday night, I turn in the fashion show, I get the challenge log from the crystal tower or monster punch game, I turn in my jumbo cactpot and buy new tickets, getting the bonus if I happen to be here on time. I then do the mini cactpot and if it's a tournament week, I pop over to the tournament room and do the tournament. If it's NOT a tournament week, I collect my winnings (still in the 2 hour window from my item), and then pop into the tournament room to do the triple triad challenges all at once. Takes about an hour once a week.

On all other days I bother to log in, at some point I drop in, do the mini cactpot, turn in the cards, and if I happen to be there at 00, 20, or 40, I do the event.

I'm getting 100k a week, I'll get there. I'm at peace with this slow efortless progress.

What I don't do? They are right, I don't do open tournament, it causes me to miss both the 00 and 20 events, and gives less. If it gave platinum packs more often for first place I might. If the MGP was about double, I might. It's not a good use of my time. Course, that's what this game requires you to do, figure out what things are, and are not a good use of your time.

For anyone reading this thread that isn't the OP, if you came here looking for good advice on how to earn MGP, then read earlier posts that lay out reasonable ways to do it without grinding for hours endlessly.
