payouts shouldn't increase, but more ways to gain MGP are always added over time. either through items, challenge logs, events, etc.

depending on a jumbo cactpot win? what? no. never factor that in. you make your MGP any other way but that. if you do happen to place in jumbo cactpot just treat it as a bonus. but NEVER ever rely on it being a part of your strategy to acquire MGP.

You don't earn MGP by farming GATES and so, you get MGP by completing weekly challenges.

• First the challenge logs. If you take out the too grindy stuff (To the races II, Victory Lap II and Kiwami) that's a total of 71k MGP
• Then by completing the challenge log you will : races 3 time (3x1k MGP) and do 5 GATES (5x5k MGP)
• By starting and loosing 15 Verminion battle during a tournement you'll get some MGP as well, ~35k weekly.
• Fashion Report grants you 60k MGP weekly
• Mini Cactpot ~7x500=3k5 MGP
• Mega Cactpot ~3000 MGP weekly

Except for the challenge log, all the MGP gain can be increased by 15% with Gold Saucer VIP Card. Completing all those takes maximum 2h a week if you take your time.

TOTAL = 71k + 1,15*(3k+25k+35k+60k+3k5+3k) ~= 220k / week and I did pessimistic estimations. So to go from 0 to 10M MGP it takes around 45 weeks. less than a year. I think that's acceptable.

Example : I was cap'd before the mount. I spent the 4M MGP for the mount so 6M left, and I'm already standing at 7M5.

I made a post just like yours - trying to be helpful. If anything, your detail was even better. I apparently was not providing "intelligible discussion" according to the OP. Maybe they will see the wisdom in your post. Just like how a player does daily/weekly things, like accruing 450 capped tomestones, running raids for loot or even doing weekly custom deliveries... doing the daily/weekly Gold Saucer stuff just has to be added to that list if someone wants the rewards.

You can do all the challenges you want, but the more the prize pool increases, the longer the grind becomes which is why i'm arguing to increase the pay-outs on literally just 2 things which was the Open Tournament and the Jumbo Cactpot... For reasons stated multiple times. This isn't something that needs to be addressed. If you want the rewards, do the time. No one is saying you have to play some mini-game 100,000 times or more to get to 10M. Follow what others have said and the MGP comes easy. It is only a grind if you let it be a grind.

I was correct in assuming that a lot of the player base is thick. Nothing changes with he audience for MMOs.

i have over 3 million MGP left over and nothing to buy unless they add new stuff, i only visit the golden saucer once a week on sunday and do a few things there.
