Just want to play the game and not have IRL politics be jammed into

Once again the Twitter XIV folks are pushing politics into the game...I wish these folks can learn to separate reality from fantasy. I play Ffxiv to relax and have fun and not deal with IRL stuff, but when folks push there political agenda into a game it gets ugly. Why can't people keep there political agenda out and just play the game?

Secondly a lot of people you disagree with politically also want to escape '' IRL '' and play games that cater to them. You're not special.

Yeah, like imagine if they put in a story about say an invading fascist nation trying to overtake our homeland. What if they add in stories about how the different races of Eorzea can be manipulated into harming others via fear, and how we should strive for peace and understanding even against our enemies? Perhaps they may add in a story about how a nation ruled by a theocracy can lead to endless bloodshed due to blind hatred? Horrible, that would be!

the problem is they cannot separate real life from fantasy and that causes problems for everyone.

Or better yet, quit social media all together. I did a few years ago and it's improved my life immensely.

No what I am trying to say is that folks are pushing current IRL politics into the game to force there ideology. It's a game I just want to relax and enjoy and not deal with what's going on IRL.

I hardly go on there I talk to my IRL friends and family and that is it.
