If you can tank a stormblood dungeon. you can tank anything.
Just queue into specific dungeons you are comfortable running. I would advice against lowering your ilv for roulettes. Also just a small tip. Please use Arms length for trash pulls. It inflicts slow on every mob that strikes you.I am so bad at tanking but I want to practice while earning XP. I am comfortable with dungeons up until Stormblood, after that I don't know the fights too well and I have issues memorizing things nowadays.
If there isn't, what content would you suggest for me? My Gunbreaker is level 84. Should I stick to Fates?

Run it with the Trust System. Start by single pulling groups. You can double-pull, but most of the damage will have to come from you. So you'll practice your AOE rotation as well as your mitigation rotation. I ran all of the 81+ trust dungeons as tank and you can wall-to-wall pull. It can get a little bit tight though. Ultimately, this could "train you" for doing on-level dungeons with PCs instead of NPCs. IMO, Fates will teach you next to nothing.I am so bad at tanking but I want to practice while earning XP. Wouldn't it make more sense to practice with the highest level dungeons you can do? Seems like a waste to practice with potentially half your abilities missing.
The thing with newer jobs is that you start with a lot of buttons instantly so you have to sort them and get familiar with what is what.
But how did they get the reward if they didn't earn it? :^)
QFE, that slow is no joke in trash pulls!
Thats why you follow the questlines of them first! They have a instanced duty designed to teach you the mechanics of the class.
(tbh, i would prefer it if the class wouldnt be usable in dungeons before they at least finished that quest, just to promote people to learn the basics that way)
And also, after that duty, you should have enough information to start doing some duties with them. They are often not too complex at lvl 70.

You're smart enough to understand how degearing to get easier duties in roulettes is cheating the point of the roulette which is to fill in various queues, but please, go on.
You can easily run through those starting questlines without learning anything.Thats why you follow the questlines of them first! They have a instanced duty designed to teach you the mechanics of the class.

Just take the time to read through your abilities, and sort everything out in a similar way to the classes you already play that are in the same group.
Please. Don't.
I personally think by the end of Heavensward, you're pretty much ready to tank any dungeons beyond that point barring any mechanics with different coat of paint and actions that are still waiting to be unlocked. They teach you nothing else new aside from having new buttons to make your life easier.
If you still want to practice in lower lv dungeon then kindly please queue into them directly. Ilv cheeser is up there in my lists of few things that potentially ticks me off,but I also don't pay your sub so whatever.
