Unable to relocate private house

So I won a lotto on a plot. Rolled a 1. I think I was the only bid and won. However the game will not let me relocate. Everything is empty from the old house and the storeroom is empty too. I keep getting an error message ( Unable to move all placed furnishings (indoor and outdoor) into the storeroom. Relocation canceled. ) each time I try to move the house. Anyone else have this issue?

Go to the Housing Menu >>> Estate Settings>>>Storeroom Status, you should have two green checks there showing your relocation status (indoor and outdoor status). If they are not both green you need to remove items from storage in the areas with the red check until it is shown as green.

The houses are totally empty? like 0/200 0/20? I'm trying to think but if it's totally empty, then I would suggest you contact a GM or report the bug as soon as possible.

Hopefully this has already been resolved, but if not, I had a thought… you say you have nothing placed and nothing in storage. So your storeroom status should be fine. But I’m wondering if maybe that’s causing it to glitch out, because it’s trying to move something and there’s nothing there to move! lol Try placing one item in the yard and one item in the house and see if that works. And let us know!

There was a thread with a similar issue a while back, nothing they tried worked besides demolishing their house and then purchasing the new one. And I am amazed they had the guts to do it! It did work out for them though, thankfully.

I really hope they read this and gave it a try. It's only a few more hours left before that house goes back up. It would be so sad if they lost it.

I find it difficult to believe that you were the only bidder on a private house in Mateus in any round besides the first round with the new wards. Sounds more like you bid in a FC only ward. In that case, it won't matter at all that your private house is empty because the game is trying to relocate your FC house. If this is the case, I really hope you did not attempt to relinquish your private house. *shudder*

I am having a difficult time with housing. I have a house in Ishgard, and I want to relocate, but every single plot I go to for a private buyer (non FC) is unavailable for purchase. Is this a result of the arbitrary timers? Shouldn't relocation be available? What am I doing wrong?
