No SubSurf on Miqo'te Ears?

Hear me out: I know they've got fluff on them.

But it feels really weird for a cat-based race not to have a little bit of subsurface scattering on their ears. Even the darkest coloured cats tend to get a little bit.





Just pointing it out given we're seeing other races with subsurf'd ears and not even a hint of it on Miqo'te...sad.

It would've been really cool to see something like this at least to a slight degree! The fact we don't even get to have ears anymore in hats though doesn't really spark too much hope ahaha, seems like they just really don't like dealing with cat ears.

This is a really good point- I actually went to see earlier in the benchmark if miqo's would have had such a neat feature and NOPE.

Bleh, I hate that you're right. I know in some cases the ear socks look silly, but I prefer them to the idea my character can't hear a damn thing bc his ears are squished. I had a little hope seeing how lovingly Elezen's ears have been sub-surfed but no bueno

I feel you there. It was honestly really cute seeing the ear adjustments in ARR gear when I started playing during it , really contributed to the unique feel for miqos ,which slowly just completely disappeared as the expansions went on.

It would be lovely to see it on miqote and lalafell as well. I hink viera have some sort of it going on but it seems to not be working properly? (Note male vieras' "glowstick ears" problem) and I know au ra have a bit of it as well.

Hell I think hyur and roegadyn should see a bit of it as well it's such a lovely little touch.
