Here's a can of worms I hope nobody opens. Even kernel-level anti-cheat is not gonna work. You think square has the ability to maintain an anticheat properly considering their current track record with responding to other feedback and technical difficulties? I will uninstall the game in a heartbeat if something akin to Riot Vanguard touches FFXIV, feels more like an attack vector than a game feature.
