Thank god some people like you are hollier than thou and never do anything wrong be it in game or in life. They also follow every single rule, in both situations and never fail, never will.

I think its more complain about real cheats like that color coded map with arrows for each mech, rather than calling for blood on a beard/chat bubbles/ zoom; even in real life there are petty laws and big laws. This is lol; should have just asked him to stop when caught.

its your static group if you dont want to play with a cheater then dont, if the other static members dont like it then just replace them too

Tell the people still in your leaking static that you're gonna continue recruiting. Give them chance to leave if they so will, but also tell them you'd like to keep them if they can wait. Communication is the key.

It's no use to hang on people if they are doubtful an kinda want to leave. Recruit your new people and try create team spirit you all share. You need to share the objective, or the group will keep on failing.
It won't be cakewalk, but to build static to last you're gonna have to put in work as a static leader. I myself always preferred to call myself management and maintenance (for static).

Last static I lead was for e1s-e8s. I dispersed us when it became clear that people had begun to want different things by e9s. some wanted to get into midcore/hardcore intensity, some wanted to keep on doing it pretty casual. all i could do, and i did it happily, was to make sure that everyone left with best preparations to find a new static, aka BiS gotten.

Me and my co-lead say up front while having the new recruit talk we don't use tools like Cactbot and discourage people for joining if they do plan to use them.
It helps communicating these kinds of things before you start raiding with them.
Too many groups just take people with good logs and never have a proper chat and get into tons of drama.
We don't outright kick people for using them and its hard to prove anyway(we don't have streamers), but we've had quite a few times now that that one player suspiciously never makes any mistakes and "learns" wayyy faster than the other 7 ppl in the group, and we're all experienced players.

I get where you're coming from though, so I'm not going to further argue semantics, but take this into consideration:

Mindlessly following every rule no matter how dumb they are is one thing, wanting to follow rules that are taken pretty seriously to the point where the devs are questioning whether it's even worthwhile to produce the content is another entirely.

Shaming isn't right in the situation but you also can't expect everyone to live in a hive mind and follow the rules as well. Even more so if the rules in this situation aren't able to be monitored properly. We don't have that in real life, why would it exist in an online social setting? If there is a more convienent way to do things with little to no consequences for anyone unless they happen to be a well known streamer or group of people, then some will act on that. Getting mad at them for using a loophole that the devs have no interest to fix is attacking the wrong group of people in my opinion.

I know that there are some reasons relating to law as to why they're hesitant to install anti-cheat but I wouldn't be shocked if profit loss was also something they recognized as a possibility. Not just because those who rely on plugins (for both raiding and accessbility/further customization) but also the entire community that uses mods would be put into a position to consider abandoning ship. People literally make a living off selling mods for this game, it's not just a tiny minority who uses them.

You're pretty much correct in all of this.
I explained my own stance a few pages back, that while I dislike gameplay mods (and don't give a toss about aesthetic ones), I can simply choose not to play with those I find out are using them, and they can play with all the cheats and hacks they want. Their "achievements" will always be fake and hollow to me, but they probably don't feel the same way.

I'm not ever going to go after people in a serious out-for-blood manner for using them, but I'm definitely going to make fun of it.
And this is imo one of those VERY rare cases where the other side retorting in kind makes little to no sense to me. "Loool look at this person playing the game as intended!"
