I would be upset if I learned someone in my group was cheating as well- as I wouldn't want to possibly be carried by someone who simply has an advantage over me.

As you've said, "This thread specifically is far more about group communication than accepting someone cheating." Agreed. But I think there's accountability to be taken on both sides. OP should've been more clear from the get-go about the rules of the static. But players using cheats should not automatically assume it doesn't affect anyone else but themselves. Its a group effort, and I agree that everyone should be on the same page from start to finish.
